Writing letters of recommendation can be a challenge. For counselors, writing these letters can often compete with other priorities, not least of which is safeguarding the social and emotional health of students. For teachers, the letters represent work above and beyond their core responsibilities.

How can you better support the college recommendation process while protecting your time to focus on all the other needs of your students? Join us on Thursday, November 5, 1-2 pm EST for a panel discussion on a new approach to college recommendations.

During the session, experts from both sides of the college counseling desk will share best practices for managing the process of writing effective college recommendations. Our guests will include:

  • Rick Clark, Director of Undergraduate Admission. Georgia Tech
  • Sanjay Mitchell, Director of College Counseling and Alumni Programs, Thurgood Marshall Academy (DC)
  • Michelle Rasich, Director of College Counseling, Rowland Hall (UT)
  • Lauren Sefton, Senior Associate Director of Admission, Rhodes College
